Perfect pool weather? Toasty conditions are expected to continue in Riverside County today, but forecasters said cooler weather and April showers were in store later this week.
High temperatures today were predicted to be 86 to 91 degrees in the valleys around Riverside, 76 to 83 degrees in the mountains, 90 to 95 degrees along the San Gorgonio Pass and 92 to 97 degrees in the Coachella Valley.”
High pressure will dominate along the West Coast through the middle of the week,” according to the weather service. “This will keep conditions on the warmer side, especially inland.”
But forecasters said a storm system was expected to hit the region by the end of the workweek and bring a chance of rain late Friday into early Saturday. The return of low-pressure conditions is also expected to lower mercury readings to around average levels by this weekend.
